BERRY PICKING ADVENTURE
Discover the fruits of the Arctic tundra with us on our berry picking hike to the nearby forests.
What to Expect
Blueberries is one of our most common berry. The nutrients and the sweet taste of these delicious berries help us survive the dark winter times. Lingonberries are picked in the wild and are used by the nordic people to accompany a variety of dishes. It is famous both for its nutrients and its acidic taste, while bitter early in the season, they sweeten if left on the branch through winter.
In August you might find the rare Cloudberries or “Multebær” that color the fields orange. Interestingly, cloudberries are in the history books for their high vitamin C concentration and are one of the best sources of vitamin C among all fruit.
Put the boots on and join us on a relaxing stroll amongst the fields of the nordic gold!
