BERRY PICKING ADVENTURE
Fields of Nordic Gold
Blueberries is one of our most common berry. The nutrients and the sweet taste of these delicious berries help us survive the dark winter times. Lingonberries grow wild across the Nordic forests and have long been a staple of traditional Scandinavian cuisine. Known for their vibrant colour, tart flavour, and high antioxidant content, they are commonly served alongside game, meat dishes, and desserts. Harvested in late summer and autumn, lingonberries are cherished for their fresh, slightly tangy taste and their versatility in both sweet and savoury recipes..
In August you might find the rare Cloudberries or “Multebær” that color the fields orange. Interestingly, cloudberries are in the history books for their high vitamin C concentration and are one of the best sources of vitamin C among all fruit.
