Welcome to our daytime version of the Polar Night Bonfire Trip, designed for a lighter experience.

Depending on the month you book this tour, you’ll witness the ever-changing hues of the Arctic light. In December, daylight is scarce, but you might catch sight of stunning colors on the horizon. As January progresses, the sun gradually returns to the North, offering the possibility of witnessing the first rays of sunlight from this elevated vantage point.

What can you expect?

1. Meet up with your guide in the reception after breakfast, and get dressed in warm outer clothing.
2. Be transported in a sled behind the snowmobile or slope prepper to our cozy cabin “Bjørnehiet” or the unique glass igloo.
3. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea, while soaking up the views of the Alta Fjord.
4. To get back to the lodge, you will be given the opportunity of walking or tobogganing down the slopes.
